The Prussian Palaces and Gardens Foundation Berlin-Brandenburg (SPSG) has the task of preserving the cultural assets handed over to it, taking into account historical, art-historical and garden-historical as well as monument-preserving concerns, completing its inventory and making it accessible to the public.

The Tiemann Foundation sees its role in this as a responsible and appealing task. For example, the Tiemann Foundation financed the restoration of the griffins in front of Glienicke Palace in Wannsee. In the park of the Sanssouci Palace, the Roman baths are particularly dear to the hearts of the donors, for example, the “Knabe mit der Schale” (Boy with the Bowl) was financed. Furthermore, the Tiemann Foundation undertakes to restore the “Venus von Capua” (Venus of Capua) at the same location.
